Great Lakes Chocolate Collaboration!

If you did not know Great Lakes Chocolate & Dessert Co. and I have been working together for some time now!

      Great Lakes Chocolate & Dessert Co. is owned by Dave and Shana Sicotte.

They are bean to bar chocolate makers, meaning they make chocolate from scratch starting with the actual Cocoa Bean!

They "strive to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy fine chocolate or dessert as an everyday indulgence."

      When Dave and Shana first started their bean to bar chocolate business, they were looking for a local artist to help in the creation of the chocolate bar wrappers.

    I had reached out because I thought it could be a fun project, and test my skills as an artist. Once I met with Dave and Shana, I was super excited and eager to work with them. They not only have a love and passion for what they do, but they want to educate others and support other local businesses like myself.

    Their first Chocolate bar wrapper they decided on my "Calm Lake Michigan Beach" scene.

    After that they were so excited to get more designs as they were starting to make even more types of chocolate and even Hot Cocoa! So now we have seven finished designs and more to come.

    Each design is a Michigan based scene including Mackinac Bridge, Pictured Rocks, Michigan beaches, lighthouse, and even Bond falls. They also have a cozy Cabin scene for their Hot Cocoa.

   Working with Dave and Shana has been so much fun! They allow me to be creative and have input while also giving lots of suggestions on what they would like next. They are some of the nicest, hard working, and passionate people I know. I can not wait to continue this journey with them, and I hope you follow along!
